Students attend one film class per month based on their grade level, studying a classic film. In one academic year, they study 8 films (96 films in 12 years), with an additional film added at the end of each stage (4 films in total), making a total of 100 classic films in the entire film course.

This course has developed 12 course textbooks, one for each grade. The textbooks adhere to the principle of "morality-based, comprehensive development", fully considering the physical and mental characteristics of students. Each stage has its own distinctive style. It has also created teaching case collections, student achievement collections, and other curriculum resources. It has formed an "1+N" implementation strategy for film courses, with film classes as the main focus and various film-related extracurricular activities as supplementary. In film teaching, it proposes the "Five-Ring Teaching Process" and the "Three-Stage Five-Activity" teaching model, and has developed evaluation and optimization strategies for film courses.

The case study "Research on the Development and Implementation of Twelve-Year Consistent System Century Film Courses" was selected as a typical case in the national school-based curriculum excellent case selection event held by the Curriculum and Textbook Research Institute of the Ministry of Education in 2023.

In the "2023 Campus Film and Television Education Achievement Exhibition" organized by the Campus Film and Television Professional Committee of the China Education Technology Association, our school's report "Developing Century Film Courses to Promote Students' Comprehensive Development" won the "Best Educational Achievement" award in the paper case category.

The course achievement report "Enlightening Growth with Light and Shadow - Design and Implementation of Twelve-Year Consistent System Film Courses" won the Second Prize in the 2020-2021 Beijing Basic Education Curriculum Construction Excellent Achievement Selection Activity.

The research paper "Design and Implementation of Twelve-Year Consistent System Film Courses" won the Special Prize in the Haidian District's "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" Excellent Education Research Achievement Selection in 2021.

The paper "Design and Implementation of Twelve-Year Consistent System Film Courses with the Goal of Cultivating Morality and Nurturing People" won the First Prize in the 2020-2021 academic year Haidian District Basic Education Curriculum Construction Excellent Achievement Selection Activity.

For Grades 1-6, Theme-based Research-based Travel within Beijing is conducted three times per semester, each lasting one day. In the second semester of Grade 6, a three-day labor-themed research-based travel is organized, focusing on guiding students to love Beijing, nature, and life. For Grades 7-9, Domestic Cultural Research-based Travel is conducted once per semester, each lasting five days. Students deeply experience the different histories and cultures of 12 cities such as Nanjing, Xi'an, and Dalian, aiming to stimulate their patriotic feelings. For Grades 10-12, World Civilization Research-based Travel is conducted during the summer vacation of Grade 10. It is organized once per semester, each lasting 3-5 weeks, primarily including research-based travel to countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States.

The school has developed rich curriculum resources such as "Research-based Travel Guide," "Research-based Travel Textbook," and "Research-based Travel Student Achievement Collection." It has also formulated complete implementation strategies for research-based travel courses, such as the "Seven Steps of Research-based Travel," "Three Steps of Immersion Reading," and "Five Elements of Achievement Exhibition." This has led to the establishment of a research-based travel safety assurance system and evaluation strategies for research-based travel courses.

Years of data have shown that after participating in research-based travel courses, students not only achieve significant improvements in their grades but also experience substantial growth in various core competencies. The achievements in curriculum construction have been highly recognized by colleagues in the education industry, parents, and students, earning numerous awards and honors.

The curriculum achievement "Integration of Knowledge and Action, Comprehensive Growth in the Classroom on the Move: Design and Implementation of Research-based Travel Curriculum in the Nine-year Consistent System" won the Second Prize in the 2021 Beijing Basic Education Teaching Achievement Selection Activity.

"Three-Part Harmony of Research-based Travel, Fostering Holistic Development in the Most Beautiful Classroom: Design and Implementation of Research-based Travel Curriculum in the Twelve-year Consistent System" won the First Prize in the 2017-2018 Beijing Basic Education Curriculum Construction Excellent Achievement Selection Activity.

"Three-Part Harmony of Research-based Travel, Classroom on the Move Fostering Holistic Development: Design and Implementation of Research-based Travel Curriculum in the Twelve-year Consistent System" won the First Prize in the 2020 Beijing Outstanding Research-based Travel Curriculum Development Achievement Collection Activity for Primary and Secondary Schools.

"Construction and Implementation of Research-based Travel Curriculum in the Twelve-year Consistent System" won the Special Prize in the Haidian District's "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" Excellent Education Research Achievement Selection.

"The Classroom on the Move" was recognized as the "Haidian District Lifelong Learning Brand" in 2023.

In November 2023, our school was invited to participate in the Sixth China Education Innovation Achievement Public Welfare Expo, showcasing our research-based travel curriculum achievement "Integration of Knowledge and Action, Comprehensive Growth in the Classroom on the Move."

The course consists of four parts: "Little Storyteller Course" (Grades 1-3), "Junior Host Course" (Grades 4-6), "Speech Course" (Grades 7-9), and "Debate Course" (Grades 10-12). After-school service periods are utilized for implementation, offering both foundational courses (electives) and advanced courses (seasonal competitions).

Currently, the course has developed four student textbooks, one for each stage, accompanied by audiovisual materials. The textbooks are thematically arranged, combining "knowledge explanation," "technique guidance," and "skill training," focusing on the integration of knowledge, skills, and qualities, emphasizing thoughtfulness, practicality, and enjoyment.

In course implementation, a four-step teaching model and seasonal competition guidance plan have been established. Various teaching methods such as "role-playing," "game chain," "story arena," and "Fluency line" have been summarized. Additionally, a student evaluation scheme and course evaluation mechanism focused on motivation and improvement have been established.

The curriculum achievement "Developing Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing Skills, Implementing the Goal of Moral Education and Nurturing Individuals: Design and Implementation of Twelve-Year Consistent System 'Century Orator' Course" won the Second Prize in the 2021-2022 Beijing Basic Education Curriculum Construction Excellent Achievement Selection Activity and received the first prize at the district level in the same year.

Our school's debate team has achieved remarkable results, winning 5 championships and 1 runner-up in national, municipal, and district-level debate competitions from 2016 to 2018. In 2023, they won the championship in the middle school group of the Fifth National Chinese Debate Championship Beijing Regional Competition.

Our school has been recognized as a "National Aerospace Specialized School." In 2018, it became one of the first "Seed Schools" in the China STEM Education 2029 Action Plan and was upgraded to a "Leading School" in 2019. Students have won championships in the "God Arrow God Country Cup" National Aerospace Knowledge Competition and have received numerous first and second prizes in the National Youth Simulated Flight Elite Competition.

Principal Fan Shengwu of our school was invited to attend the Seventh "China Education Innovation Annual Conference" and delivered a speech on the topic of "Local Innovation of Labor Curriculum under a Global Perspective." Additionally, at the 2021 Asian Education Forum, he gave a keynote presentation on the "Localization Implementation of Labor Education."

The artistic aesthetic curriculum comprises fields such as drama, fine arts, music, and dance, encompassing both regular and activity courses. Regular courses set curriculum objectives and content for each grade level, guiding students through stages of experiencing, exploring, and reflecting, gradually advancing from lower to higher age levels. Activity courses are organized systematically and planned according to the characteristics and progress of each subject area. They include activities such as campus talent shows, art festivals, and drama festivals.

Our school students have achieved remarkable results in various art competitions.

The school adheres to the educational philosophy of "health first" and has developed a health curriculum, including three major modules: physical education, psychology, and hygiene.

While ensuring the full implementation of the national physical education curriculum, the school creatively integrates it into its own curriculum based on its characteristics. It has developed a twelve-year consistent system of physical education and health curriculum, including four types of courses: basic physical education courses, elective physical education courses, specialized training courses, and physical activity courses.

Psychology courses are tailored according to the psychological development characteristics of students at different grade levels, with established curriculum objectives and content. Additionally, students receive psychological counseling.

Hygiene courses mainly involve class teachers and deputy class teachers (i.e., guidance teachers) teaching students various knowledge in daily life and during class meetings. Additionally, teaching is conducted through lectures, broadcasts, publicity boards, and parent letters.

The curriculum achievement report "Leveraging the Advantages of Consistency, Developing Integrated Curriculum: Design and Implementation of Twelve-Year Consistent System Physical Education and Health Curriculum" won the first prize in the Haidian District Basic Education Curriculum Construction Excellent Achievement Selection for the 2022-2023 academic year.
